On January 17, 2013 at approximately 1:35 a.m., Richard Gray, age 45 from Park Hills, Missouri was operating a 1999 Oldsmobile Silhouette. Dale Ingram, age 26 from Bismarck, Missouri and Kasey Stevens, age 22 from Park Hills, Missouri were the only two passengers in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
At that said time and date, Richard Gray was traveling southbound on Missouri Route AA at Thomas Road. The crash occurred as Richard Gray was driving at a high rate of speed and failed to negotiate a right curve. Richard Gray’s vehicle traveled off the left side of the road and overturned.
Kasey Stevens was transported to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur by air evacuation medical helicopter in critical condition. Later, the Mercy Hospital staff and Dr. Boland pronounced Kasey Stevens dead. Richard Gray was also transported to Mercy Hospital by Arch Medical helicopter with serious injuries. Dale Ingram received moderate injuries and was taken to Parkland Hospital by St. Francois County ambulance. According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, all the passengers were not wearing their seat belts during the time of the crash.
Richard Gray’s 1999 Oldsmobile Silhouette received total damages and was towed by Buckley Towing.
This fatality crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of Troop C.
