Passenger Seriously Injured in Overturned Vehicle


In Barry County, the passenger inside a vehicle is seriously injured after the driver lost control on the roadway.

On February 20, 2014 at approximately 8:50 p.m., Bobby Scott, age 35 of Butterfield, Missouri was operating a 2003 Infiniti along with Herman Tilford, age 50 of Washburn, Missouri.

At that said date and time, Bobby Scott was traveling in the eastbound direction on Farm Road 2130 and one mile east of Butterfield, Missouri. The crash occurred as Bobby lost control and traveled off the roadway, collided with an embankment, and then overturned.

Herman Tilford received serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Bobby Scott did not report any injuries and Herman Tilford was found not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.

Bobby Scott’s 2003 Infiniti received total damages and was towed by Wilson’s Wrecker of Washburn, Missouri.

This auto-crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of Troop D.
