On June 23, 2013 at approximately 12:05 a.m., Ronald French, age 32 of Irondale, Missouri was operating a 2003 Oldsmobile Silhouette along with passengers; Tina Lindsey, age 34 of Desloge, Missouri, Steven Stark, age 16 of Irondale, Missouri, and Brandon Stark, age 16 of Irondale, Missouri.
At that said date and time, Ronald French was traveling northbound on Highway U and .2 miles south of John Emiling Road. The collision occurred when Ronald French was traveling along Highway U and collided with the rear of a 1995 Chevrolet 2500 and then with the front of a 1991 GMC Sierra. The 1995 Chevrolet 2500 was stopped unoccupied in the northbound lane of Highway U, and the 1991 GMC Sierra was stopped unoccupied in the southbound lane of Highway U. Both vehicles were stopped unoccupied due to debris in the roadway.
Steve and Brandon Stark were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by deputy coroner Steve Hatfield and then transported to Washington County Memorial Hospital by Washington County ambulance. Tina Lindsey received serious injuries and was flown by air evacuation to Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Ronald French also received serious injuries from the collisionand was taken to Parkland Hospital by Washington County ambulance.
This fatality crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of Troop C.
