NEW HAVEN, MO. – According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, Graden Lovelace, 20, of New Haven, MO, was involved in a crash with Joshua Blankenship, 27, of Sedalia Missouri on Saturday morning August 13th 2016.
The crash report states that Blankenship crossed the center line driving a 2000 Mistsubishi Eclipse on U.S . Highway 50, crashing head-on into Graden Lovelace and his 1992 Chevrolet Silverado pick up truck. The report says the two vehicles caught fire after the collision. Graden Lovelace was pronounced deceased on the scene by Moniteau County Coroner Lloyd Fulks at 1:02 a.m. The report also states that Blankenship suffered serious injuries and was in critical condition when he was transported by Mid Mo Ambulance and then the Staff For Life helicopter, to the University of Missouri Hospital.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol report stated that Lovelace was wearing his seat belt, but Blankenship was not.
