On April 25 at approximately 8:25 a.m., Nannette M. Henson, 34, of Festus, was operating a 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe westbound on Seckman Road. Kelsey A. Whalen, 17, of Barnhart, was operating a 2010 Volkswagen Beetle westbound on Seckman Road. Kurtis F. Beyer, 41, of House Springs, was operating a 2004 Suzuki Forenza eastbound on Seckman Road.
At that said date and time, Henson attempted to make a left turn onto Golden Gate Drive but pulled into the path of Beyer striking the vehicle head-on. Whalen, unable to stop the vehicle in time, then rear-ended Beyer.
Whalen was taken to Mercy Hospital Creve Couer with minor injuries. Henson was taken by Rock Township ambulance to St. Anthony’s Hospital with moderate injuries. Beyer was taken to St. Anthony’s Hospital with moderate injuries.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, all three drivers were wearing their seat belts.
The vehicles all received total damages and were towed by Timco.
This accident was investigated by Trooper J. A. Ashby of the Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop C.
