Three Fatalities in One Car Crash

In Howell County, The Driver of a vehicle failed to turn at an intersection and ran off the road into a dirt embankment, causing three fatalities and one seriously injured.

On November 12, 2013 at approximately 3:40 p. m., Timothy Berry, age 26 from Willow Springs, Missouri was operating a 2001 Pontiac Grand AM. Timothy’s passengers were Daniel Combs, age 51, Alex Hayes, age 15, and Shanna Kendall, age 31. All passengers were from Willow Springs, Missouri.

At that said date and time, Timothy Berry failed to turn at an intersection, ran off the road and struck a dirt embankment.

Timothy Berry and Alex Hayes were pronounced dead at the scene by Howell County Coroner Tim Cherry, and taken to Willow Funeral Home in Willow Springs, Missouri. Shanna Kendall was taken by Air Evac to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. Shanna was pronounced dead at 18:04 by Dr. Robert Johnson. Daniel Combs received serious injuries and was taken by Air Evac to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

Timothy’s 2001 Pontiac Grand AM received total damages and was towed by Adam’s Wrecker Service.

This fatality crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D. This is Troop G’s 24th, 25th, 26th fatality for 2013. At this time last year the total fatalities for Troop G was 32.
