Three Injured in Pickup Truck Accident

In Pulaski County, the driver of a pickup truck lost control at a high rate of speed while driving on the wrong side of the road, injuring three people.

On October 6th, 2013 at approximately 3:00 a. m., Shane Hall, age 21 of Richland, Missouri was operating a 1986 Toyota Pickup along with passengers: Nicholas Brewer, age 24 of Waynesville, Missouri; Dylan Martin, age 19 of Waynesville, Missouri; Amber Mills, age 17 of Waynesville, Missouri; Travis See, age 23 of Richland, Missouri; Sean Wilson, age 19 of Crocker, Missouri.

At that said date and time, Shane Hall was traveling on Raceway Road five miles west of Waynesville, when he lost control of his 1986 pickup at a high rate of speed on the wrong side of the road. This caused Shane to skid and run off the road to the right striking a tree, returning to the road and then striking a mailbox.

Travis See was seriously injured and taken to Mercy in Lebanon by Pulaski County Ambulance then flown to Mercy in Springfield. Amber Mills received Moderate injuries and taken by Pulaski County Ambulance to Mercy in Lebanon. Sean Wilson received moderate injuries and by a private vehicle taken to General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital. Shane Hall, Nicholas Brewer, and Dylan Martin refused treatment.

According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the driver and all passengers were not wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

Shane Hall’s 1986 Toyota Pickup received extensive damages and was towed by Rothmunds Towing.

This crash was investigated by Trooper Douglas Pfeifer, and with assistance from Trooper Michael Mizer, and Trooper Jeffery Leathers.
