Totaled 1933 Ford Sedan in Crawford County Crash

In Crawford County, two occupants sustain injuries due to the driver’s negligence when he drove off the roadway.

On March 18, 2012 at approximately 9:18 a.m., Charles Hadley, age 69 and a resident of Saint James, Missouri was operating a 1933 Ford Sedan and traveling in the eastbound direction of I-44. Betty Krulik, age 65 and of Cuba, Missouri was Hadley’s passenger during the time of the crash.

At that said time and place, Hadley was traveling eastbound on I-44, two miles west of Sullivan, when he ran off the right side of the roadway and struck and embankment. The impact from the collision caused Hadley’s vehicle to overturn several times.

Charles Hadley received moderate injuries from the crash and was airlifted to St. Johns Hospital in Creve Coeur. Hadley’s passenger, Betty, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Missouri Baptist in Sullivan by ambulance.

Hadley’s 1933 Sedan received total damages as a result from the crash and was towed by Miles and Sons Towing.

This auto-crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and was assisted by troop I.
