Two Adults Moderately Injured in Auto-crash

In Greene County, two adults were injured Thursday evening after one vehicle pulled into the direction of the other.

On April 12, 2012 at 6:10 p.m., Danny Felton, age 60 and a resident of Rogersville, Missouri was operating a 2010 Ford F-150 and traveling in the southbound direction. Joyce Klann, age 83 and a resident of Springfield, Missouri was operating a 2001 Buick and traveling in the eastbound direction.

At that said time and place, Joyce was traveling eastbound on US 60, only one mile west of Rogersville, as Danny was traveling on the same road but in the southbound direction. The crash occurred when Danny pulled his vehicle into the path of Joyce’s.

Both Danny and Joyce received moderate injuries and were transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri for medical treatment.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, both Danny and Joyce were reported to be wearing their seat belts during the time of the crash.

Danny’s 2010 Ford received extensive damages and was towed by APEX Wrecker of Rogersville. Joyce’s 2001 Buick received total damages and was towed by All Night Towing of Springfield.

This auto-crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of troop D.
