When one driver ran off the Farm Road 168 in Greene County, he crashed into a utility pole. The car rolled several times before coming to rest on its top, ejected the driver and a passenger, and causing minor to moderate injuries for five occupants of the vehicle.
On June 6, 2012 at approximately 7:10 P.M., 23-year-old Tomee Sloan from Republic, Missouri was heading west on Farm Road 168 five miles west of Republic, Missouri while operating a 1994 Ford Station Wagon. Sloan had four passengers: Nathanial Harbour, age 20, from Republic, Missouri; Casidy Hornbuckle, age 16, from Republic, Missouri; Morgan Hornbuckle, age 14, from Republic, Missouri; Brittney Moshier, age 19, from Republic, Missouri.
The crash occurred when Sloan ran off the right side of the road and crashed into a utility pole. The vehicle rolled several times and came to rest on its top. The crash ejected the driver and a passenger.
Passenger Nathaniel Harbour suffered minor injuries and was transported from the scene of the crash by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. Passenger Casidy Hornbuckle suffered moderate injuries and was air-lifted from the scene of the crash to Mercy Hospital. Passengers Morgan Hornbuckle and Brittney Moshier suffered moderate injuries and were transported from the scene of the crash by ambulance to Mercy Hospital. Driver Tomee Sloan suffered moderate injuries and was transported from the scene to Mercy Hospital.
