On December 26, 2013 at approximately 2:45 p. m., Roger Wilson age 47 of Muldrow, Oklahoma was operating a 2013 Chevorlet 2500. Troy Robins age 19 of Pineville, Missouri was operating a 2002 Dodge Ram. David Boxx age 51, from Bentonville, Arkansas was operating a 200 Toyota Sienna Van with passengers Bethany Boxx, Gracen Boxx, Janet Boxx, Katelyn Boxx, and O’Rane Williams.
At that said date and time, Roger Wilson and Troy Robins were headed northbound on US71. Accident occurred when Troy changed lanes in front of Roger and Rogar rear-ended Troy. Troy’s Truck crossed over the center of the roadway and struck David Boxx’s Van in the Driver’s side. After the impact David traveled off the right of the roadway and overturned.
Bethany Boxx, and Katelyn Boxx were pronounced dead at the scene by McDonald County Coroner, B. J. Goodwin and were transported to Ozark Funeral Home, in Anderson, Missouri. Gracen Boxx received serious injuries and was airlifted to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin. David Boxx received Moderate Injuries and was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Arkansas. O’Rane Williams received Moderate Injuries and was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. Janet Boxx received minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Bentonville, Arkansas.
David Boxx’s 2000 Toyota Sienna Van was totaled and towed by Gardners Towing, in Pineville. Roger Wilson’s 2013 Chevrolet 2500 received extensive damages, and was towed by Gardners Towing in Pineville. Troy Robins 2002 Dodge Ram received extensive damages and was towed by M & S Towing in Noel.
Roger Wilson and Troy Robin’s were both tested for Alcohol, and according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol all were wearing their seat belts besides O’ Rane Williams, and Roger Wilson.
