Two Injured in Overturned Crash

In Barry County, two men from Crane, Missouri were injured after their vehicle overturned and crashed into a tree.

On March 3, 2013 at approximately 8:30 p.m., Joseph Bills, age 22 from Crane, Missouri was operating a 2000 Buicl LA Sabre. Darren Fraley, age 32 from Crane, Missouri was Joseph’s only passenger inside the vehicle.

At that said date and time, Joseph Bills was traveling in the eastbound direction on Farm Road 2012 and 2 miles northeast of Revisville. The crash occurred as Joseph neglected to operate the vehicle correctly and ran off the roadway. Joseph then lost control of the vehicle, which overturned and collided with a tree.

Joseph Bills received moderate injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. Darren Fraley received serious injuries and was flown by air evacuation to Mercy Hospital in critical condition.

According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, neither Joseph nor Darren was wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.

Joseph Bills’ 2000 Buicl LA Sabre received total damages from the collision and was towed by Hooten’s Wrecker of Crane, Missouri.

This auto-crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of Troop D.
