Two Moderately Injured After Head-on Collision

In Douglas County, two vehicles collide head-on with each other resulting in moderate injuries for both drivers.

On April 14, 2012 at approximately 9:40 a.m., Trilba Denny, age 45 and a resident of Gassville, Arkansas was operating a 2003 Pontiac Grand Pix and traveling in the westbound direction. Rebecca Jennings, age 38 and a resident of Ozark, Missouri was operating a 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and traveling in the eastbound direction.

At that said time and place, Rebecca was traveling eastbound along MO 14 and route K as Trilba was approaching for the westbound direction. The crash occurred as Trilba crossed the center line and struck Rebecca’s vehicle while in the eastbound lane of Missouri Route 14.

Rebecca received moderate injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri by Cox ambulance. Trilba received moderate injuries as well and was transported by Cox ambulance to Cox South in Springfield.

According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, both drivers were found to be wearing their seat belts during the time of the crash collision.

Trilba’s 2003 Pontiac and Rebecca’s 2004 Chevrolet both received total damages and were towed by Jim’s Body Shop in Ava, Missouri.

This auto-crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of troop G.
