Two-Vehicle Crash Results in Fatality

In Clark County, a resident of Canton was rear ended and then overturned several times in his vehicle causing his death.

On September 29, 2011 at approximately 5:38 p.m., Ryan Regar, 23 years old and from Ewing, Missouri, was operating a 2004 Ford Mustang and traveling in the northbound direction. Glennon Docherman, 59 years old and from Canton, Missouri, was operating a 1994 GMC 1500 Pick-up traveling as well in the northbound direction on US 61, only 3 miles south of Wayland.

At the said time and place, both Ryan and Glennon were traveling northbound on US 61. Ryan then rear ended Glennon, causing him to run off the left side of the roadway and to overturn many times. As Glennon’s car overturned, it then struck the median and came to a final rest on its top in the southbound side of US 61. Ryan also came to a rest upon the post-crash.

Glennon was pronounced fatal at the scene of the crash by Clark County Coroner, Edwin Wilson.

From the results of this crash, Ryan received no injuries and was not transported to a hospital. As for Glennon, his body was transferred by the coroner to Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka.

Glennon’s 1994 GMC Pick-up sustained total damages and was towed by Brewers Kahoka Towing. Ryan’s 2004 Ford Mustang also received total damages and was towed by Roberts Towing in Ewing, Missouri.

This auto-crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of Troop C.
