Vehicle Hits High Rate of Speed and Overturns


In Greene County, the driver operating the vehicle skids across the roadway while traveling at a high rate of speed and overturns.

On November 24, 2012 at approximately 9:40 p.m., Aaron Fischer, age 26 from Springfield, Missouri was operating a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The passengers along in Aaron’s vehicle are Dylan McCracken, age 25, and Judith Secrest, age 17.

At that said time and place, Aaron Fischer was traveling in the southbound direction on Farm Road 205 and two miles east of Springfield, Missouri. The crash occurred as Aaron attempted to negotiate a curve at a high rate of speed and skidded off the roadway, collided with an embankment, went airborne, and then overturned.

Aaron Fischer and Dylan McCracken received moderate injuries from the crash and both were transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. Judith Secrest received serious injuries and was also transported to Mercy Hospital. According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Aaron Fischer was the only one wearing at seat belt at the time of the crash.

Aaron Fischer’s 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee received total damages from the collision and was towed by Henry’s Wrecker of Brookline, Missouri.

This auto-crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of troop D.
