Wrongful Death in Head-on Collision Crash

In New Madrid County, one woman is wrongfully killed in a head-on collision crash after the driver of another vehicle crossed the center line.

On June 16, 2013 at approximately 10:20 p.m., Noah Sprouse, age 16 of New Madrid, Missouri was operating a 2005 Chevrolet pickup. Kenneth Robinson, age 34 of Lilbourn, Missouri was operating a 2006 Dodge Magnum along with passenger Angel Ray, age 40 of New Madrid, Missouri.

At that said date and time, Noah Sprouse was traveling in the southbound direction while Kenneth Robinson was traveling in the southbound direction on U.S. 61 and two miles north of New Madrid. The crash occurred as Noah’s vehicle crossed the center line and collided with Kenneth’s vehicle head-on.

Angel Ray was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by New Madrid coroner, George Delisle, and then transported via-coroner to Delisle Funeral Home in Portageville, Missouri. Kenneth Robinson was seriously injured in the collision and was taken by ambulance to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Noah Sprouse received minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri.

According to the crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, neither Angel Ray nor Kenneth Robinson was wearing their seat belts during the time of the collision. However, Noah Sprouse was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.

Noah Sprouse’s 2005 Chevrolet pickup and Kenneth Robinson’s 2006 Dodge Magnum received total damages and were towed by Moore’s Auto in Marston, Missouri.

This fatality crash was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and with the assistance of Troop E.
